Based on direction from health experts to promote social distancing, event offerings may be modified. Events offerings will have reduced capacity and are subject to limited availability or closure.

Things to know:

  • Event guests will be able to self-scan upon entry with the digital tickets that are emailed in advance.
  • There will be lots of information and signage everywhere!? Look for these at Zoo entrances, building locations, and throughout the event space with specific information.
  • Not sure where to stand? Don’t worry, we’ll have line markers for you.
  • Employees are required to wear masks. Masks are required in all buildings and high congestion areas per City ordinance effective July 9, 2020.? This includes all indoor buildings, train lines, food and retail lines and some outdoor areas where it’s difficult to maintain the six-foot social distance like Gorilla World, Hippo Cove and Africa.? Masks are also required to feed a giraffe.? Let’s stay safe and healthy.? Masks On!
  • Menus and service styles are changing!? This will reduce face-to-face interactions and guest touchpoints.
  • Three restroom locations will be open. Please be sure to wash your hands frequently (and for at least 20 seconds) to stop the spread of germs! Additional hand sanitizer will be available throughout the park.
  • We will be following recommended?CDC guidelines
  • Additional protocols and procedures may be announced closer to the event date, as instructed by the government and health officials. Please check this page for the most current information on event updates and safety procedures.
  • A pre-event email will be sent to you with more information before your event date.
